Poland, the perfect destiny.
Poland, the perfect destiny.
Poland is a country in the north of Europe; the
capital of the country is Warsaw and is an unknown place to visit for many
tourists. This country has an interesting history because it has lived tragically
many times and there happened some events that are important in our history. For
example, the Second World War, an event that affected terribly each city and it
left the country in ruins; the Germans destroyed quickly house by house, they
killed viciously almost all the polish people and they created pitifully the concentration
camps in the Polish forest. In Poland happened mainly the holocaust. In
addition, after the war, Poland did not become easily in a free country because
the Soviet Union took radically the power and it was a difficult period. Nevertheless,
today Poland is an established country, it was rebuilt completely and it is excellent
place to meet.

I’m going to start the
trip in the capital of the country, Warsaw; the city of the palace and museums.
in the first day, I’m visiting the breathtaking Royal Castle in the morning,
the palace where the Polish kings lived several centuries. Also, I’m exploring the
old town square, a market that was rebuilt completely and there are many
charming houses, and after that, I’m walking through the old town street to
meet the culture and history. On Thursday, I’m going the Warsaw Ghetto, the
place where the Germans enclosed the Polish Jews during World War II, and I’m meeting
the Museum of the History of Polish Jews
(POLIN) and the Warsaw Rising Museum in the afternoon, two sites that show
mainly the city and its citizens in World War II. In addition, I’m visiting in
detail some picturesque cities during my trip, like Torun, Gdansk and Wroclaw, which
are pleasant places and these have an amazing architecture like the gothic. My last
stop is Krakow, there I’m going the Wawel castle, to meet the ancient capital of
Poland and in the morning of the next day, I’m traveling Auschwitz
concentration camp to learn about the Nazi evils.
As I said,
Poland is an unknown touristic destiny to visit. The people think that Europe
is only France, Spain or Italy. Never someone thinks in Slovakia, Bulgaria,
Latvia or Poland. Nevertheless, Poland is improving its bad reputation after
WWII and the communist period. It will give better opportunities for tourist and
people that want emigrate searching better life quality and the Polish tourism
office will promote the different beautiful cities by TV, radio, internet, etc. so, in the next years, it will become in one of the ten most touristic places in
the world and an established country ideal to immigrate. Also, it will do several contract with some multinationals and Poland will export many products of the country to several parts of the world becoming in a recognized and rich country; its economy will be like that of Germany and United Kingdom.
I’m planning a trip to Poland,
and this is my itinerary:
